Rewarewa PurePod is located in Helensville the gateway to the Kaipara Harbour, an easy 40-minute drive from downtown Auckland. 

Drift off to sleep by the melodic songs of birds nestled in the nearby bush, right outside your PurePod. Wake up to a dawn chorus unlike any other, a symphony of nature’s harmonies that promises to invigorate your senses.

Walk To Your PurePod

The walk to Rewarewa PurePod is a short 150m across lush farmland towards protected land designated for regeneration. This bird corridor attracts native species of Kererū, Tui and Ruru to name a few, just wait till sunrise or sunset to hear their ‘chatter’.

A Secluded Setting

Privacy is assured at the Rewarewa PurePod. Despite being located on a working farm, the gully on which the PurePod is perched overlooks the protected land and bird corridor and is a haven to behold. You can sit back, relax and soak in the views. In the distance is the Kaipara Harbour which is the largest harbour by coastline in the Southern Hemisphere and is a treasure trove of activities and natural highlights.

Experience ultimate relaxation with a glass of locally produced wine on your own private deck, while watching the day transform to dusk and the starry night beyond.

Things To Do

On the way to Rewarewa PurePod, you’ll find plenty of attractions worthy of a visit. Stop by Phil Greig Strawberry Gardens for a delicious ice cream, visit Kumeu River Winery for their award-winning Chardonnay, or enjoy a meal at The Hunting Lodge. The region is full of delightful spots to explore!

For outdoor adventures, enjoy the Gannet Track at Muriwai Regional Park, where you’ll be treated to stunning views and a chance to see the famous gannet colony. Other walks include Bethells Beach and the beautiful 12 km trail at Mataia Restoration Project.

For a thrill, try Tree Adventures, mountain biking at Woodhill Forest, or Auckland Sky Dive. Relaxation awaits at Palm Springs Parakai geothermal pools or on a Muriwai Beach horseback trek with Muriwai Beach Horse Treks.

The PurePod has all the facilities you require including a fabulous shower, flush toilet, crisp linen, cooking and eating equipment including a gas hob and barbeque, tea coffee and milk; as well as an assortment of games, local reference books, and a telescope.

Dinner And Breakfast Package

You can either bring your own supplies or pre-order a delicious breakfast and dinner food hamper when you make your reservation.

The food hamper contains delicious fresh food grown, harvested, made and reared on farm and throughout the Kaipara region. 

You’ll start the evening fare with a scrumptious platter of cheeses, homemade hummus, relishes and crackers with seasonal fruit. For the main course enjoy the award-winning Lamb or local venison (ready for you to cook on either the gas cooktop or BBQ) accompanied by gourmet potatoes and seasonal vegetables or fresh salad with a sweet treat to finish. 

Breakfast is homemade granola accompanied with stewed fruit or berry compote and yoghurt or croissants and farm-made honey.

Check In And Check Out

Check-in is from 3pm. Check-out is by 12 pm on the day of departure.
