The walk to Matū PurePod is a short but scenic 600-meter journey that leads you across peaceful farmland, offering a true taste of rural New Zealand. Along the way, you’ll pass open fields and may even get to greet some of the friendly farm animals who call this place home. Keep an eye out for grazing sheep, cows, or even a curious goat or two—it’s all part of the charm!

To make your stroll as enjoyable as possible, we recommend bringing a small backpack to carry your essentials. It’s the perfect choice for a hands-free, hassle-free walk, ensuring you can focus on soaking in the stunning surroundings. The dinner & breakfast hamper is filled with mouth-watering fresh food that is grown and harvested in the region. You’ll start the evening fare with local cheeses, cured meats, homemade bread, crackers, and dips. For the main course, enjoy the chef’s selection and seasonal salad. Breakfast is muesli and yoghurt.
