Your journey to the Pōhue PurePod begins with a scenic drive around Banks Peninsula, taking you past Charteris Bay and Diamond Harbour. You’ll ascend the hill above Purau before turning off the main road into the secure car park.
The walking track gently winds through regenerating native bush. The walk is 1.2 km uphill and will take around 25 minutes to complete. As you make your way along the track, you might spot friendly sheep and remember to take a moment to stop and admire the beautiful views of Port Levy. After winding out of the bush, there’s one last push uphill. You’ll then round a small berm, and the PurePod will be revealed, inviting you to embrace nature and relax.
With complete privacy and no one nearby, you can fully immerse yourself in the tranquillity of your surroundings, allowing you to unwind and reconnect with the natural world. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the deck or taking in the serene landscape, Pōhue PurePod is the perfect retreat for those seeking peace and relaxation.
